Dr. Shea Dempsey recently co-authored a new article published in the Journal of Dermatology for Physician Assistants examining the efficacy, patient satisfaction, and safety of FDA-approved neuromodulators used in facial aesthetics.
Neuromodulators commonly used to soften wrinkles and support facial rejuvenation are one of the most widely performed aesthetic treatments. This research reviewed the available scientific literature comparing the different FDA-approved options to better understand how they perform, how long results last, and how satisfied patients are with their outcomes.
